Crystal Saga Nova Currency Guide: Every Currency Explained
Crystal Saga Nova has multiple currencies, each earned differently and spent in different shops. Wasting the wrong currency on the wrong item can set you back weeks. This guide explains every currency, how to earn it, and exactly what to spend it on.
Premium Currencies
Diamonds (Premium)
The main premium currency. Can be purchased with real money or earned for free through gameplay.
- Earn from: Daily activities, arena, achievements, codes, events
- F2P rate: ~300-500 per day
- Spend on: Inventory expansion (first!), VIP Level 3, event shops
- Never spend on: Gold, stamina refills, random gacha

Bound Diamonds
Same as diamonds but cannot be traded or used in some premium shops. Given free through events and login rewards.
- Earn from: Login rewards, event participation, compensation
- Spend on: Same as diamonds where accepted. Use BEFORE regular diamonds.
- Note: Always spend bound diamonds first — save regular diamonds for purchases that only accept unbound.
Basic Currencies
Gold
The universal basic currency. Used for almost everything.
- Earn from: Quests, mob drops, AFK farming, selling gear, dungeons
- Spend on: Enhancement, gear repair, pet feeding, skill upgrades, guild donations
- Tips: Never buy gold with diamonds. Sell unwanted gear instead of storing it. AFK farming overnight generates significant gold passively.
EXP (Experience)
Not a spendable currency, but earned like one. Fills your level bar.
- Best sources: Main quest > EXP dungeons > Guild quests > AFK farming
- EXP Potions: Use early (flat amount matters more at low levels)

Activity Currencies
Guild Contribution
Earned from guild activities, spent in the Guild Shop.
- Earn from: Guild quests (10/day), guild boss, guild war, donations
- Daily rate: ~300-500 contribution
- Spend on (priority): Wing Fragments > Gem Chests > Pet Food > Enhancement Stones
- Never spend on: Cosmetics, basic materials available elsewhere

Arena Coins
Earned from PvP arena battles (win or lose). Spent in Arena Shop.
- Earn from: 5 daily arena attempts (win = 100%, lose = 50% coins)
- Daily rate: ~100-200 coins
- Spend on (priority): Weekly Gem Chests > Enhancement Stones > Arena Gear
- Tip: Always use all 5 attempts daily even if you lose every one

Honor Points
Earned from PvP ranking and guild war. Used for titles and exclusive items.
- Earn from: Arena season rewards, guild war participation
- Spend on: Titles (permanent stat bonuses), exclusive cosmetics
- Priority: Stat-boosting titles first, cosmetics last
Event Currencies
Event Tokens (Various Names)
Each event has its own temporary currency. Earned during the event, spent in event shop, expires when event ends.
- Rule: Always spend ALL event tokens before the event ends
- Priority: Limited items (exclusive gear/pets) > Wing Fragments > Gems > Materials
- Warning: Leftover tokens usually convert to gold at a terrible rate. Never let them expire unused.

Material "Currencies"
- Enhancement Stones: For gear enhancement. Farm from dungeons, buy from shops. Don't waste on low-level gear.
- Wing Fragments: For wing upgrades. From Wing Trial (3x daily) + Guild Shop + Events.
- Pet Food: For pet feeding. From dailies + guild shop. Always feed daily.
- Evolution Materials: For pet evolution. From Pet Dungeons only.
- Gem Dust: For gem combining. Generated when combining gems (automatic).
Currency Priority Summary
- Diamonds: Most valuable. Spend carefully. (Full guide)

- Arena Coins: Medium value. Buy gem chests weekly.
- Event Tokens: Temporary. Always spend before expiry.
- Gold: Low value individually. Easy to earn. Spend freely on upgrades.
